Princeton Transit Center & Marketplace
The Transit Hall & Market project at Princeton University creates a new gateway to the campus and community via a waiting area, canopy, public plaza, bike storage accommodations, and retail space. This collection of structures and spaces accommodates passengers on New Jersey Transit (via The Dinky train) and connects to Blair Walk - one of the main thoroughfares on campus - with integrated outdoor seating and covered outdoor spaces. The Transit Hall anchors the composition with a soaring stainless steel roof and unique stacked precast concrete columns, assemblies which rethink the Gothic forms and tectonics traditional to campus.
