Le Cabanon
This family retreat on the southwest coast of Providenciales emerges from the coastline on which it sits. Organized parallel to the sea, the principal structure consists of a main living pavilion and porch flanked by a separate wing of private rooms. The circulation and program of spaces are tailored to the site and path of the sun, allowing light and the natural breeze to make their way through the building. A dramatic pitched roof with operable skylight caps off the main living pavilion. Warm mahogany windows, casework, and ceilings stand in contrast to the brilliance of the white concrete structure.
